I have been ripped off by about a dozen or more sites over the years which promised to pay for each email or site visited to the tune of over one thousand dollars. 

The most honest one i met was tim luedtke, owner of email-lotto, and then bigpowerballpool.lotto  or sometihing like that and the other big-azz lotto.  He owes me close to $400.  He shut down overnight   Warned us a couple weeks after he soaked us, to write to him and tell him how much he owed us.  When I asked for my money then  and more within past couple yrs, he told me to ask the state of Wisconsin, since they seized his computers, bank accounts, etc.  Yet, he is still running several web sites, including a "lottery".  whenever i still visit cb, and see his ads, i keep clicking on them to get back a little bit on him.

Don't do it.  Fast path to Hell.  But, hell,  I shut down my oil burner cuz that's how i get my hot water.  maybe in november i'll turn it on again.  for now, hot water electric pot handles all the needs.
