I would like to address a couple of the above topics. I don't get the new pop ups. I'm using the newest version of firefox as a browser called Gran Paradiso. It can be downloaded for free from www. mozilla.com. I just checked the site. It is now called Firefox 2.
Over the years there have been several jp winners that seemed suspect. No one recognizes the nick and the nick is never seen again.
If I would notice a person playing two rooms at the same time, I would let them know that I'm on to them. If they did not stop or did it again, I would report them to CB. Outside of that, there is not much one can do.
With regards to gg's and ty's, I believe in "live and let live." There are times I gg and ty and there are times I do not. If I gg and do not get a ty, I do not feel slighted. I figure just because I want to gg, doesn't mean the other person has to ty. We all are at CB to have fun and that may be interpreted in different ways by different people.
Finally, I won two Keno jp's two and half weeks apart..........after having played at CB for seven years without winning anything. Assuming CB's games are run fairly and the player is not cheating, then it's a case of "you pay your money and you take your chances". I see nothing wrong with that.

Playing 2 rooms at one times isnt fair play and it makes holdem really slow waiting on anyone who does it

I think poker should be 30 minutes. Myself I cant do 60 minutes of it. Only finished 3 games of poker since joining and thats because I got the royal early on. Was in real pain in arm and hand before I finished it.

is the solitaire winner real - i think all the winners are real, most of them i know and have played with but that doesn't mean i should know or see every single person that plays at cb, there are many rooms and games i never play in
people who play in 2 rooms at once - they are cheating and should be reported to cb, i know of several that got kicked out of site for doing that
people who don't say gg and ty - there is no rule that says you have to chat, that is an option and many don't use it at all, i play afk a lot myself as do a lot of the keno players, sometimes we go for hours with nothing but winners listed in chat, most of us know each other and know we are busy elsewhere and that we are happy to see them win and thankful for our own wins
is winning back to back jps really fair - i think so, i have never done it myself (i am trying though), i am glad that there is no restriction on how many jps you can win, and i am always happy for every winner i see listed, no matter how often they win
know anyone who has won the $250 drawing - the winner is always listed for that drawing, it is in with the raffles, 3rd one from bottom of page there, i don't know too many people here by their real names so not sure if i have known any of the winners or not
people who go all in in holdem - i don't play holdem but if it is allowed in the rules then i see nothing wrong with it, seems like it is always an option in the holdem tourneys i see on tv
should poker tourneys be 30 min like slots - i think they should, an hour in there is pretty boring, i try to play most of the games at least once a day but i skip that a lot of the time because i don't want to spend a whole hour at it
people who spend all night in one room - i never sleep at night, i sleep for about 4 hours a day in the afternoon, i am almost always at cb all night long, but seldom spend the whole time in one room, i don't see anything wrong with it though, some people only play one game and that is allowed so what is the problem?
to justchillin - i am sorry you were so unhappy at cb, i miss seeing you in keno, but the majority of the players seem to be happy with the site, even the ones that are complaining about the slow payout for winnings are at least happy enough to keep paying to play, why should any of us cancel our memberships if we like the games and the people we get to visit with there? why would we want to put the site in even more of a financial bind? we love it there and want to keep our little family intact, i think it would be a real shame if a few disgruntled players ruined the site for the rest of us, i would miss my friends there very much and i know i would never find a better or more fun place to play online
I would like just once to find someone who knows the winner of solitaire. Several times people have tried to add them to buddy list right after JP goes and it says not in database so it makes you wonder.
Same with $250 winner. I have asked lots of times no one has ever known anyonethat has won it.
Knothead, since you dont play holdem you have never had to deal with going in a room alone waiting for as much as 30 minutes for someone to come in and then when table gets a few people at it leaving because you dont want to go all in on a pair of 2s LOL. I have had this happen a lot and have left and started a new table only to have another group come in and have a few play the same way. Same goes for waiting in line to get in room. Spent 15 minutes waiting only to lose in 5 minutes or just sit there and fold. Its allowed but not what I call fair play.
My views on a couple of the subjects listed--PEOPLE WHO PLAY 2 ROOMS AT ONCE:--Its a pain to have to wait on someone who is in another room--watching tv or just runs the timers out every time-if you want to fold, there is a button for it!---PEOPLE WHO DON'T SAY GG & TY:--I always do, but then I enjoy chatting & joking with my friends in CB, that's the fun of it for me, hubby plays and never turns chat on--guess its up to the player---PEOPLE WHO GO ALL-IN ALL THE TIME:-- People who go all in EVERY hand BEFORE the flop are my pet peeve on CB, I don't mine high bets, I do it myself IF i've got the cards, but some players just play all-in every hand and bet crazy trying to buy the pot--ruins it for us that play fair--SHOULD POKER TOURNEYS BE 30 MIN:--No, I don't think so--its an elimation game, that's part of the fun of it-- PEOPLE ALL NITE IN ROOMS: Some people are nite-owls, before I became disabled I worked for years 7pm to 7am--I was used to staying up all nite--I guess its no different than people who play all day long--I can't play more than an hr or so, if that, got too much to do!! But doesn't bother me if other people play 24-7, that's up to them ---as for the pop-ups and ads--I'm Gold so there is an option to turn all that off and still get instant wins
The poker tourny I was talking was video poker not holdem. Its 60 minutes and its very hard on your hands. I did find out I was able to complete the 60 minutes but only on my laptop. I move mouse with right hand and use left hand to click on laptop it self LOL.
